Artificial Intelligence scares me

Artificial Intelligence scares me and I’m passionate at the same time. I understand that its capabilities are almost limitless, and the “problem” we have in controlling it.

Today Artificial Intelligence continues to develop without any control, and each company does what it wants according to what is best for its business.

The largest companies and the most technologically developed countries are the ones that are at the forefront of these developments, of which we hardly know anything about what they do, because they only communicate what is convenient for them.

As I say so many times, the problem is not technology but the use and control that is made of it. Especially the control.

Today algorithms already manipulate an important part of our life. They decide the things that are most current, and people follow their trends on social media without wondering why they do it. That’s how things are now.

From what I have read, some of the scientists working in this area are also surprised and scared by what they have at hand, and they recommend that some kind of legislation be established in this regard.

The problem is that the rulers are more interested in maintaining the power quotas of their countries, and trying to get “products” that allow them to dominate others.

And what they do not realize is that this technology is capable of learning by itself and may even try to impose itself on all of us.

And this dear friends is no longer science fiction. It is a reality that can be presented the day after tomorrow.

Will we do something to limit their activities?

I want to be optimistic and hope so.
