A new concept of electric car?

It has been presented by an Israeli company called REE and I find it most interesting.

It is a very basic concept, a flat platform on which the battery is placed, and 4 wheels that incorporate the motor, brakes, suspension, control sensors, etc …

It is a way to turn all car designs upside down as they were conceived so far.

In this way, all the space is available to make the passenger compartment of the car to the needs of the customers. And the possibilities that open are many and varied, as can be seen below.

The idea is perfectly embodied, but now it remains to be put into practice, and the most complex part is being able to place all traction and motion control systems on the wheels.

There are already small electric motors that could be used, and the idea doesn’t seem crazy at all.

In not too long it will be seen their real possibilities.
